The island of St. Lucia played a major role during my time with the Peace Corps. My first seven weeks of training in the summer of 2017 was spent in the rural community of Desruisseaux, living with my host mother Julie.
After being assigned and moved to Grenada, I was able to return to St. Lucia a handful of times over the next two years. I returned after being elected as the Grenadian representative for the Volunteer Advisory Council, as well as for my Mid-Service Training and Close of Service Conference.
What follows here are a few videos from my visits to the Helen of the West Indies.
