In August of 2018, my brother Tom came down to visit. During his time in Grenada, we took a trip with fellow Volunteers and their visiting families to Carriacou and the Tobago Cays. Carriacou is a small island off the northern coast of Grenada and is one of the islands that makes up the tri-island nation of Grenada. The Tobago Cays is located in the Grenadine island-chain of St. Vincent and is famous for its snorkeling. Our trip to the Tobago Cays included a stop at Petit Tabac, an archipelago where the famous “But Why is the Rum Gone?” scene from Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was filmed.
