Death Valley National Park- CA

After visiting Sequoia, our next stop was further South to Death Valley National Park in California. Death Valley is an environment that is brutally intense, with temperatures up to 117 degrees while we were there.

In Death Valley we visited Zabriskie Point and Dante’s Viewpoint for a sunrise, Badwater Basin, Artist’s Palette, and Golden Canyon.

The week after our visit, a global heat record was set in Death Valley at 133 degrees.
