In December of 2016, I spent two weeks on a volunteer trip in Cape Town, South Africa. During the trip, myself and a few other volunteers spent a long weekend traveling the countryside.
This trip included a safari, shark-cage diving, and visits to some local lion and elephant sanctuaries. One stop on the trip was a bungee jump from Bloukrans Bridge. From a height of 216 kilometers, or a little over 700 feet, the bungee is the largest bridge bungee in the world. Overall, it is the fourth highest bungee jump in the world.
I few years later I was featured on a podcast called “Overcoming,” where I shared how this bungee jump experience helped me cope with living abroad. You can find the podcast episode here.
