As part of my graduate education at the University of Nevada, Reno, I worked as a reporter for a multimedia street reporting collective called Our Town Reno. My duties included interviewing homeless individuals at shelters and living on the streets, as well as community activists and local political leaders seeking to address the growing affordable housing crisis.
