After our trip to Lassen Volcanic National Park, we were joined by another high school friend, Doug Carey. Our first stop after Doug’s arrival was in Sequoia National Park.

While in Sequoia we hiked the Trail of the Sequoias and visited Moro Rock. We also saw a black bear and experienced the biggest tree on planet Earth, the Sequoia tree dubbed “The General Sherman.”
